Camillo T. Melchiorre – is the President & CEO of Hope LoanPort, the only 501(c) (3) technology provider in the mortgage banking industry. Melchiorre has more than 30 years of experience in a broad array of positions in mortgage banking including executive management slots at Freddie Mac, Land America Lender Services and Radian. He is also one of the founders of MSTD Inc. which created the default servicing platform BackInTheBlack. In 2010 Melchiorre was named one of the Mortgage Banker Association’s Technology All Stars.
Daniel McLaughlin – has been redesigning business processes and integrating new technologies in the mortgage banking industry for more than 30 years. Dan is a founder of Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc. (MERS) and was the architect of the MERS System, the MERS Commercial System and the MERS eRegistry. He designed the business processes and procedures under which MERS operates. MERS was created to streamline the mortgage process by using electronic commerce. Dan is a Managing Director at The Hilltop Companies and President of Hilltop iSolutions. Together, the companies provide advice on lending, loan servicing, credit policy, accounting issues, tax strategies, financial valuations, operational enhancements, as well as technology/data solutions.
Lisa M. Weaver, CMB – IBM Executive focused on technology, transformation, consulting and innovation leveraging IBM’s Watson, Cognitive, Digitization, BlockChain and Cloud – Envision a new way to originate, decision, sell and service loans. Previously, Lisa was Senior Vice President at ISGN responsible for Professional Services and Innovation and was chief architect of patent-pending risk technology and innovative dashboard technologies and a previous winner of the Progress in Lending Innovation award and Mortgage Technology Release of the Year award. Previously, she held executive and management roles at Freddie Mac, OneWest Bank, and General Electric. Lisa is a Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) with a rich understanding spanning the entire mortgage ecosystem with GE Six Sigma and Lean Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Friends University.
Marcie A. Charles, Esq. – is a practicing attorney at Wollman, Gehrke & Solomon and a member of the Tax Law, Business Law, and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections of the Florida Bar. Marcie has a master’s degree in taxation and brings a variety of experience in corporate tax planning at the federal level and tax strategies for mergers and acquisitions. She began her legal career as an attorney-advisor with the IRS Office of Associate Chief Counsel (Corporate) in Washington, DC where she worked on the issuance of taxpayer specific guidance, corporate tax regulations, and other published guidance. Marcie was also associated with the national offices of two public accounting firms where she advised multinational corporations and private equity clients on mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, and other business transactions.
Peter Phelps – is a CFO for a portfolio of companies in the following industries: technology, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, and real estate. Peter has broad experience with early and later stage companies in the following industries: technology, healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing. Able to execute complicated financial transactions, turnarounds, and restructuring. Experience with IPOs and M&A. Took Andover.NET public in 1999. Subsequent sale to VA Linux in 2000. Peter is a CPA with a MBA from George Washington University – School of Business in Accounting and Finance.

Samuel A. McCullough – serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Griffin Holdings Group LLC. He has experience in financing commercial and industrial companies, economic development projects and in the financial services industry. Sam served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Meridian BanCorp. from 1978 to 1996. He is the past chairperson of the International Financial Conference, a past chairman of the Association of Bank Holding Companies, and a former board member of both the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and the Federal Advisory Council to the Federal Reserve Board.
Wade Hamby – has an extensive background in mortgage lending, mortgage insurance, and mortgage outsourcing. Wade is the National Director of Sales and Marketing at The StoneHill Group, Inc., which provides consulting, project management and outsource services to the mortgage, credit union and banking industries.
Richard Bitner – has over 25 years of experience in the mortgage banking, ranging from retail, wholesale and correspondent lending to media and insurance. Most recently he was the founding partner and president of HousingWire, a financial media and publishing company. He spent 8 years developing it into the “go-to” resource for mortgage industry news until its sale in 2016. From 2000 to 2005, he served as the President of Kellner Mortgage Investments, a nationwide wholesale mortgage lender. In 2008 he published his book, Confessions of a Subprime Lender: An Insider’s Tale of Greed, Fraud & Ignorance. In doing so, he provides unique insights into the causes of the mortgage crisis along with solutions for reforming the industry. He has been featured on a broad range of TV shows providing analysis on the housing and mortgage crisis including CNN’s American Morning, Fox News, CNBC’s Squaw Box, Larry King Live, CBS’s The Early Show and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. In 2010, he provided expert testimony in Washington DC to the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission. He currently serves as a testifying expert witness in mortgage-related cases. He holds a master’s degree in communications from Cornell University and a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Northern Arizona University.
Chip Halverson – provides forty years of technology, financial and executive leadership in the healthcare industry. He worked for a number of high tech companies before joining Chicago based Comdisco. In his fifteen year tenure with Comdisco, Chip was Senior Vice-President, a Corporate Officer and a member of the Corporate Credit Committee. He was also President of the Healthcare Group which oversaw the management of a $500 million dollar portfolio of leased imaging and clinical equipment and the 100,000 square foot, ISO 9000 certified facility that refurbished and remarketed the imaging equipment.
Chip is currently a Board Member of Richardson Electronics Inc. (NASDAQ:RELL), and serves on both the Audit and Compensation committees. He also served as a Board Member, Executive Committee Member and Chair of Fundraising/Development for Juvenile Diabetes Foundation International and is Board President for the Red Pine Camp Foundation.
